Going in Reverse: Dangerous Driving Behaviors Rise

Unsafe driving behaviors, including speeding and operating under the influence, rose between 2020 and 2021. The findings are published in the 2021 Traffic Safety Culture Index from the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety, released in December 2022. The report classifies the most recent data as a "reversal of trends" stemming from the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
