Passion in a Bottle ft. Mike Pennington & Tony D’Amato of Meguiar’s
Frank Meguiar, Jr. made his first bottles of furniture polish in 1901 with an egg beater, working at night to fill orders for the next day. By the 1960s, Meguiar's Mirror Glaze was the go-to choice for car manufacturers and dealerships, especially for auto show presentations. Mirror Glaze made show cars shine to the point where attendees asked where they could get it, leading to the creation of the Meguiar's consumer line in 1973.
Mike Pennington, Director of Training and Consumer Relations, and Tony D'Amato, Senior Manager of Experiential Marketing and PR at Meguiar's, join Carl for this episode of AutoVision News Radio. Mike and Tony share the evolution of automotive paint and detailing technology, how enthusiasts are embracing EVs, and why the inside of the bottle matters most.
